Clever Kegs, great beer, happy drinkers.
A keg rental business, innovative tech company, and above all a friend to the industry, Kegstar is the new kid on the block whose aim is simple: make brewing good beer easy.
As the craft beer and cider scene continues to grow, Kegstar’s team of industry experts are simplifying the entire keg value chain with their revolutionary technology. Each individual stainless steel Keg and Cask that Kegstar rents out, is etched with it’s own 2D matrix code and RFID tag. Using app enabled technology, each keg is scanned using a smart device, allowing the container to be tracked through the supply chain to the venue, creating valuable data insights along the way.
Absolutley everything is supported by Kegstar’s iOS and android technology, meaning all the customer has to do is fill, deliver, scan, repeat. When the time comes for empty kegs to be collected, venue staff can simply download the free Kegstar app and scan the keg to request a collection. Alternatively, venues can call, email, tweet or even Instagram Kegstar to let them know they have empties to be picked up; no platform is out of reach for this inventive keg company.

Tennent Caledonian is Scotland’s oldest brewer. Based at the historic Wellpark brewery in Glasgow since 1556, we are, in fact, Scotland’s oldest business still in existence.
We brew an industry-leading portfolio of beers led by the iconic Tennent’s Lager and our smooth draught ale, Caledonia Best for drinkers at home and abroad.
Our heritage, skill and passion for brewing allow us to create Scotland’s favourite alcoholic drink brands. Our beers are loved by our drinkers, brewed with an absolute dedication to quality using the finest ingredients including highland water from Loch Katrine and Scottish malted barley. We also have a unique understanding of what it means to be Scottish, communicated via award winning marketing and sponsorship programmes – from iconic TV advertising, to sharing and enhancing Scotland’s passion for music, football, rugby and golf, all underpinned by engaging and memorable PR and digital campaigns.
We are committed to our community and the Scottish on-trade, as evidenced by a £45m investment in the last six years in Scotland’s pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants; the launch of the Tennent’s Training Academy in 2010, which has seen over 38,000 students pass through its doors and our role in supporting the regeneration of the east end of Glasgow via the redevelopment of Wellpark Brewery, the re-introduction of the Tennent’s Tours for domestic and international visitors and our JV with Williams Brothers, Drygate Brewery.
